Idaho Falls Idaho Temple Ornament
The Idaho Falls Idaho Temple is the tenth constructed temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was the church's first temple built in Idaho, and the first built with a modern single-spire design. The exterior of the temple was completed in September 1941. However, with World War II shortages, it delayed the completion of the temple for four more years. Church president George Albert Smith dedicated the Temple September 23, 1945.
The ornament is made of bright stainless steel and is 7.1 cm (2.8 inches) in diameter by 1 mm (0.04 inches) thick. The ornament comes with a 13 cm (5.1 inch) silver-colored string loop for convenient hanging from Christmas trees. The ornament comes protected by a folded-envelope-style card packaging.
