Laie Hawaii Temple is a temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) located on the northeast shore of the Hawaiian island of Oahu. It was the first temple built by the LDS Church outside the contiguous United States. The temple is also the oldest to operate outside Utah, and the fifth-oldest LDS temple still in operation. The completed structure was first dedicated by Heber J. Grant on November 27, 1919.

The ornament is made of bright stainless steel and is 7.1 cm (2.8 inches) in diameter by 1 mm (0.04 inches) thick. The ornament comes with a 13 cm (5.1 inch) silver-colored string loop for convenient hanging from Christmas trees. The ornament comes protected by a folded-envelope-style card packaging.
